Has anyone noticed how bizarre it is that personal items like the family’s passports and wallets were found just scattered by the freeway? I remember watching a documentary where investigators mentioned that sometimes criminals do this to make it look like a robbery. But everything else just doesn’t fit. If it was random, why weren’t those things taken and used immediately? Just feels really staged to me. It’s like someone wanted to create a specific narrative, but it doesn't add up with the whole $20,000 investment dispute angle. Anyone else think this could have been a way to throw off the investigation from something else entirely?
I’ve been digging into the Hochman-Salomon case, and something that keeps sticking out is the car business dispute angle with Harvey Rader. It makes me wonder if there's any chance someone outside the main suspect circle might have had a grudge against Sol or even against Harvey Rader himself and saw an opportunity in the chaos. Considering the shady nature of some car dealings back in the day, it seems plausible there could’ve been more players or someone cashing in on taking down multiple targets at once. It’s baffling how, even with motive and blood evidence, the trail has stayed cold for so long. Does anyone know if the investigators ever looked into other disgruntled associates?
