It's been so many years, and it still haunts me how Jayson's case remains a mystery. Has anyone ever looked into the Quaker communities around the time Grooms was found? I know he mentioned wanting Jayson to be with a family practicing that religion. Perhaps someone there might have seen or heard something back then. Seems like such a specific detail, and considering how secretive and tight-knit some religious communities can be, it might be a lead worth pursuing, even after all this time. I truly hope we can find out what happened to Jayson, for the sake of closure for his family. Any thoughts or anyone here from or familiar with Quaker families around Durango in that era? Stay safe, sleuths.
