Does anyone have more information on the Stranger Alert policy in the Campbellsport area back in the early '80s? I've been reading about Robert Fritz and it got me thinking. Given how tight-knit smaller communities can be, it's tough to wrap my head around how quickly things turned with his disappearance. I wonder if this event led to changes in the way the local schools and community handled safety for kids. I wasn't around during that time, so any insights or recollections would be really appreciated. How did the community react immediately after, especially in terms of keeping an eye out for the children?
Hey folks, I've been reading about the old case of Robert Fritz from Campbellsport, and it really got me thinking — does anyone have more insight into how these community search efforts can sometimes lead to new clues even after years have passed? I know that Robert went missing all the way back in 1983, but historically, have there been instances where returning to initial search areas later on has led to finding something missed before? Considering how thorough those early searches were with so many people involved, it’s hard to believe nothing was found. Maybe there’s a lesson here about re-evaluating old leads with fresh eyes? Just wondering if anyone has examples of similar cases where persistence paid off in unexpected ways. Would love to hear your thoughts!
