Does anyone have more info on the broader context of missing Indigenous children during the 80s in the Yakama Nation area? I've been reading about Roland Spencer's case, and it's so puzzling how his disappearance aligns with so many other unsolved cases in the region. I wonder if there were any significant developments in law enforcement tactics or awareness over the years. It's baffling how these cases were handled back then, and whether cultural misunderstandings might have played a role in these investigations. Also, if anyone has insights on how the local community responded to these disappearances, it would be great to hear your thoughts.

I've been digging into Roland Jack Spencer III's case, and something that's been bugging me is the timing of his disappearance in relation to his mother’s tragic death. It's unsettling how Celestine Faye Spencer's death was ruled accidental, yet Roland went missing just two years later. Does anyone else find it odd how close those events occurred? I wonder if there could have been something more than coincidence at play, especially given the cases of other missing and murdered Indigenous people from the area around that time. It just seems like there might be more beneath the surface that wasn't talked about publicly. It's frustrating that so little information is available, and Roland’s case just went cold. Thoughts?
