Did anyone else notice the bit about the phone call from the man claiming Pamela and Michael were safe in Los Angeles? That really piqued my interest. It's strange that a caller would make such a specific claim, yet it led nowhere. I wonder if the police looked into that guy's connection to the family or any known acquaintances who might have moved out of state around that time? It's odd that he mentioned relatives specifically, which makes me think it could've been someone familiar with the family. Also, does anyone know if they were able to trace the call or get more details from it? Sometimes, even small leads like phone calls can unravel a lot when investigated thoroughly. Just my two cents. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?

I've been following Pamela and Michael's case for a while, and something that's been on my mind is the call that came in four months after they went missing. It's odd that someone would claim the kids were safe with relatives in Los Angeles but then provide nothing concrete. Could this have been a genuine lead that got lost in the cracks, or just someone cruelly playing games with the family and police? It seems like such a specific detail—why Los Angeles? If anyone has theories or knows of missing persons cases with similar calls, I'd love to hear your thoughts. I find it important to dig into these kinds of inconsistencies because they might hold the key that everyone else has missed. It's been so many years, but I still hold out hope that someone, somewhere, knows the truth about what happened to Pamela and Michael.

I'm really curious about the caller who claimed that Pamela and Michael were safe with relatives in LA. Does anyone know if law enforcement ever tracked down who made that call? It seems odd to me that someone would go out of their way to call in a false lead unless they had some connection to the case. This was before caller ID, right? So many unanswered questions around this, and it just makes me wonder if this person actually knew something or if it was just a cruel prank. If anyone has insight into this angle of the investigation, I'd love to hear your thoughts. It seems like there are layers to this case we may not fully understand.
