Hey everyone, I've been poring over T.J. Davison's case, and something has been nagging at me about the car situation. I mean, how common was it back in 1985 for people to leave cars unlocked, especially with kids inside? I get that times were different, and folks probably felt safer, but leaving T.J. all alone seems so risky. I've read some accounts where other families during that time did similar things, like leaving windows cracked or doors unlocked. But leaving T.J. in a parking lot for 30 minutes? It's wild to think about now. I wonder if there were any known issues with security at the Brettwood Village Shopping Center back then, like common thefts or reports of suspicious individuals. Has anyone come across anything like that in old news articles or local records? Anything that might point to someone preying on unattended children in similar scenarios? I feel like understanding the context of those times might give us more insight into what happened to T.J. Thoughts?
