I recently came across the disappearance of Richard Emanuel Lawrence, and something that intrigues me is the note found in his abandoned car. It suggested he planned to return for the vehicle, which makes me wonder what his state of mind was at that moment. Given his health issues and disorientation episodes, it seems possible he believed he could manage his way back on his own.
What's puzzling is the vehicle's location - a remote logging road near Vader, WA, quite a detour if he intended to head back to Portland. Why would someone already disoriented venture away from main roads? Maybe he thought he could find a shortcut or perhaps it was a simple navigation error resulting from confusion.
Has anyone looked into local happenings or sketchy activity around Vader during that time? If he intended to come back, something must have prevented him. It feels like there might be more to uncover if we shift the focus to the surrounding area and potential encounters Richard might have had.
Has anyone looked into the possibility that Richard Lawrence might have been trying to retrace his steps back to Portland using routes he was familiar with? Given that his vehicle was found on a logging road near Vader, it's possible he might have thought this was a shortcut or a familiar path. I'm curious to know if there were any road maps or directions found in his vehicle that might point to this theory. Also, were there any other sightings of him in small towns between Tacoma and Vader around the time he went missing? It seems strange that there were no additional witness reports if he was on foot for any length of time. It's such a tough situation not knowing all the details, but every little bit could help piece together what happened.
Hey everyone, I've been really digging into the Richard Emanuel Lawrence case, and something that keeps baffling me is the condition in which his car was found. Does anyone else think it's peculiar that it was totally out of gas on a logging road so far from Tacoma? It just seems odd to me.
If Richard had just filled up before he left, you'd think he would've had enough gas to at least get him past Vader, if he was trying to head south. Also, the note found in the car saying he'd come back for it later is raising more questions than answers for me. Was he really planning to come back, or was this just something he scribbled down while possibly disoriented?
Given his past experiences with getting lost, I'm starting to wonder if he took a wrong turn and ended up there unintentionally. But then again, why keep driving until the tank's empty? It would be interesting to hear if anyone else might have insight into why Richard’s car might've ended up in that particular spot or if there's historical data on the regional road networks back then. What do you all think?
