The detail about the orange bedspread missing with Ara really sticks with me. It’s just so strange. Could it have been taken to cover her and keep her quiet, or maybe it was used for something else entirely by whoever took her? I can't help but think that the bedspread could hold some kind of clue, like someone might have seen it during those critical early hours but didn’t realize its significance at the time. Did anyone living in or around Big Sandy in 1986 remember an orange bedspread turning up somewhere it shouldn’t have? It feels like even the smallest detail could be important with cases like these, where there's so little to go on.
