I came across David Hoober's case again, and I'm left wondering about the lack of attention it seemed to get back in 1987. I lived in Tacoma around that time and don't recall hearing much about it in the news. Was there ever a media push to find him, or did it just slip through the cracks? It's troubling how some cases just fade out of public awareness. Does anyone know if his family ever received any tips or if there were searches organized back then? It's frustrating how little information there is out there, even after all these years.
It's been a while since I last came across David Hoober’s case, but it always leaves me with more questions than answers. One thing that strikes me is the complete lack of any solid clues or leads. How does someone just disappear off the face of the earth like that? Gig Harbor isn’t a huge place, so you'd think someone might have seen or heard something over the years. Yet, all these decades later, there's still so little to go on. Does anyone have any old clips from local 1987 news reports or newspapers? I wonder if there are details or interviews that aren't widely shared online yet. Every bit of information could potentially lead us closer to finding out what happened to David.
