Hey everyone, I've been doing some digging into Penny Dawn Lease's case, and something caught my interest regarding the gym where she was last seen. Does anyone remember what security measures were typical for places like the Omni Fitness Center back in '89? These days, we've got surveillance everywhere, but I'm wondering if there were cameras or security personnel around that might have seen something. Given it's been so long, maybe there's a chance someone remembers something specific about the environment or people hanging around outside at that time. I feel like even a small detail could help paint a clearer picture of what happened that day. Thoughts?

Has anyone else been struck by the lack of CCTV footage from places like Omni Fitness Center when Penny went missing? It was 1989, so I get that cameras weren't everywhere, but I wonder if there were any security measures in place at all. I know it's a long shot, but sometimes these gyms had internal policies about keeping logs or having security personnel around. Has there ever been any mention of someone who might've seen her inside or around the gym that day? It's such a well-populated place, you'd think there might've been a witness who missed something crucial. Always hoping for some new clues to surface after all these years.

It’s really baffling how Penny Lease seemed to just vanish into thin air after leaving the Omni Fitness Center. One thing that stands out to me is the duffel bag she was carrying. I’ve seen other cases where items like bags or personal belongings turn up much later, miles away from where the person was last seen. Has there been any follow-up on whether her bag was ever found or if any of its contents were tracked down? Sometimes these small details can crack open a case. Can’t shake the feeling there might be someone out there today who either knows something or remembers seeing her that day. I hope they come forward.
