Does anyone else find it unusual how Dorothy's purse ended up near the Cayucos pier? It feels like such a deliberate move to throw off investigators. I've been pondering this detail ever since I read about it. Dorothy was known to be cautious, especially about leaving the house after dark. It's really sad to think of her possessions being used in such a manipulative way. I can't imagine the distress her family and friends must have felt, hoping against hope that she'd be found safe. It makes me wonder about all the little details that went unnoticed and how they could have impacted the investigation. I truly hope that the justice system has brought some peace to those who loved her.

I've been following the Dorothy Vivian Autrey case, and it just doesn't sit right with me how someone could harm their own grandmother. The image I have of Dorothy from everything I've read is that of a loving and active member of her family and community. Her friends all described her as someone who cherished those around her, and it's truly difficult to comprehend how things could have gone so wrong. One thing that really struck me in this case is Levine's behavior after her death, particularly during the time he spent in jail. I can’t wrap my head around how he could be so focused on discussing her estate instead of showing any actual remorse or grief. It's chilling to think that he could be so detached from the gravity of what he had done. What are everyone's thoughts on how his attitude during incarceration might reflect on his character or on the premeditation aspect that the prosecutors highlighted? It just makes me wonder how many warning signs were overlooked in his past, considering his history with substance abuse and violence. It’s heartbreaking for the community and for her family who had to face this tragedy. I hope this case raises more awareness about protecting the elderly and ensuring they are safe, even from those who are supposed to love them the most. Thoughts are with Dorothy’s friends and family.
