I've been following Jennifer Fay's case for a while and something I've always found intriguing is the involvement of Mark Wombolt. His story about feeling unwell and leaving Jennifer at the convenience store feels off to me. I mean, how often does someone just leave a friend behind instead of waiting a few minutes for them to finish up in a store, especially at night? And then there's the mention of Wombolt being associated with Kevin Maler, who has a pretty shady background. Could it be possible that Wombolt knows more than he's letting on, either about who Jennifer met or what transpired afterwards? Anyone else think this line of investigation deserves more attention, or have any details been overlooked here?
Has anyone looked into the significance of the convenience store where Jennifer was last seen? It's such an intriguing aspect that Wombolt mentioned she might have talked to two men in a truck. Convenience stores often have surveillance, though I know in 1989 it might not have been the norm. I'm curious if LE looked into whether employees or other patrons saw anything that night or if they attempted to track down any regulars who may have been around. It seems like this location could be a crucial piece, especially if Jennifer was seen interacting with someone before she vanished. Could it be possible that more people saw something but didn’t think it was important enough to report? What do you all think?
I’ve been following Jennifer Fay’s case for a while now, and something keeps nagging at me about the people she was last with. We know she was last seen with Mark Wombolt, but it’s the mention of those two guys in the truck that has me thinking. Who were they? Did anyone check surveillance footage from the convenience store to see if they could identify them? Back in '89, security cameras weren't as common, but maybe there's something that got overlooked or forgotten in the initial investigation. It’s weird that they haven’t been more of a focus, given they might have been some of the last people to see her. Does anyone else think there might be more to this truck encounter than what has been shared publicly? Or maybe I'm missing something? Would love to hear other people's thoughts.
