Does anyone else find it strange that Ashley's purse was reportedly found by those fishermen near the Trinity River, but then it vanished before the police could get there? It's almost as if someone wanted it to be found initially and then had a change of heart. Could it be that the purse was moved or hidden intentionally afterward to mislead the investigation or cover up evidence? If that's the case, it suggests there's more to the story than what we know. Also, considering her recent move from Minnesota, it makes you wonder if someone was targeting her for reasons we aren't aware of yet. Could her being new to the area have made her more vulnerable? So many questions, and I hope the renewed interest might help bring some answers. Anyone else have thoughts on why the purse might have appeared and disappeared like that?
Have you guys noticed the peculiar circumstances surrounding Ashley Reed's car? I can't stop thinking about the fact that her car was found with the hazard lights on and the battery drained. It's almost as if someone wanted her to be found quickly, but why leave her purse and keys missing? It seems like whoever was with her was in a hurry or staging something. It also makes me wonder if the car was left there intentionally as a diversion.
Also, her purse supposedly found near the Trinity River is a big mystery. If fishermen really saw it, why couldn't the police find it later? It feels like a crucial piece of the puzzle went missing in that gap of time. It's an odd detail that doesn't quite add up. What do you all think might be the significance of her personal belongings disappearing? Could it suggest an attempt to mislead investigators or something else entirely?
The more I read about this case, the more questions I have about the roles of "Dave" and "Robert" in all of this. And who was this man she was last seen talking to at IHOP? My gut tells me there's something more there.
