Does anyone know if there have been any updates or sightings that match Laura Lee Alber outside of Michigan? I was reading about her case and noticed how difficult it must be to track someone with a transient lifestyle who had mental health challenges. I wonder if there's been any effort to look for records from shelters or hospitals in nearby states that may have encountered her. It seems like a huge challenge, but maybe a fresh pair of eyes on old data could help. Also, has anyone ever come across other similar cases where individuals were found after a long period of time? It's upsetting to think that someone could just fall off the radar like that, and I genuinely hope her family finds some answers soon. If anyone knows more, please share!

Hey everyone, I was diving into some cold cases and came across Laura Lee Alber's disappearance. One detail that I find puzzling is her last known whereabouts. There’s so little info on what she was doing right before she vanished. Considering she struggled with paranoid schizophrenia and moved around quite a bit, it makes you wonder if she ever reached out for help or stayed at a shelter. Has anyone read or heard about any places she might have frequented in Lansing during that time? It feels crucial to have a better picture of her daily routine to narrow down potential search areas or witnesses. Any ideas are appreciated. Let's keep sharing what we can and hope it brings some answers for her family and friends.

Did anyone else notice the detail about Laura Lee Alber's scars? I'm curious if these distinguishing marks were ever followed up on by investigators. Since she was living a transient lifestyle, it's possible she was seeking shelter or services where these features might have been noticed by someone. You'd think a large mole on her back or scars, especially on her cheekbone, could stand out to people interacting with her during that time. It's just frustrating that despite these unique identifiers, there doesn’t seem to be much progress. Wonder if there might be survivors or people who were homeless around Lansing back then who remember encountering someone fitting her description. Anyone know if the Lapeer County Sheriff's Department ever reached out to these communities during their investigation?
