Did anyone else hear about the folks who saw a man fitting James's description near Road 9 Northwest before he disappeared? Someone mentioned it briefly in another thread, but there haven’t been many details shared. I’m curious if this was before or after the last confirmed sighting. Seems odd that rumors like these aren’t coming up more, considering Quincy isn’t that big. With the authorities not releasing much, it’s hard to piece together a timeline. Anyone have more local insights or know if this has been verified?
Has anyone looked into the possibility that James might have been trying to reconnect with estranged family around the time he went missing? It's not uncommon for people to reach out or attempt to reconnect during the holidays, and it's approaching that time of year. Maybe someone picked him up, and it wasn't recorded or noticed by locals. His connections could be worth investigating more deeply, as sometimes people reconnect without telling others in their immediate circles. Just a thought, considering there's been no clear evidence of his whereabouts or what might have happened.
