Has anyone else looked into the phone call Monique made to her mother on the day she disappeared? It's always struck me as odd. Did she actually miss the bus, or was there something more going on that morning? I get that kids sometimes say things to cover up stuff they think they'll get in trouble for, but with everything else that happened, it feels important to reconsider this part. Plus, given the time frame, it seems like there might have been people around who could have seen something. Has anyone come across any witness statements or info from locals around that time? Even something small might help unravel what was actually happening that day.
