I’ve been thinking about the role of the babysitter's cousin in James's case. From what I understand, he had a criminal record and even failed a polygraph test regarding James's disappearance. It's frustrating because I can't shake the feeling that there might be more that authorities could look into regarding him. Has anyone come across anything about his background or why he was never charged, especially given the gravity of the allegations? I find it hard to believe that after all these years, there hasn't been a breakthrough concerning his involvement. Perhaps it's time for a fresh look into his connections and possible activities around the time James went missing. It’s crazy how close some people can be to the truth and yet it feels miles away. I'm curious about the witness who spotted James near Oracle Road and Grant Road on the morning he vanished. Does anyone know if the witness provided any details about James's demeanor or whether he was alone at the time? It seems like such a crucial piece of information, especially considering all the possible routes he might've taken and places he could've stopped. Plus, that general area has changed so much over the years, I'm wondering if there were any other similar disappearances or disturbances reported around there during that time. I was revisiting James's case and something has been bugging me. Has anyone ever dug deeper into the convenience stores around Oracle and Grant? I know it was mentioned he might've stopped by a 7-11 or Circle K on his way home. I'm curious about whether the police checked the surveillance footage from those places back in '91. I imagine it might be a long shot given how long ago this was, and considering how tech has evolved since then, but it's worth knowing if it was considered. Even a grainy old tape could've provided some clues. Maybe there were frequent customers or workers who might've seen or heard something strange around that time. Anyone have any info or thoughts on this?
