Did anyone else notice the timing of when Jettie Parks' case was added to the BCI's statewide cold case database? It's heartening to see her case getting more attention now after all these years. I'm really hoping that this renewed focus might help jog someone's memory or encourage someone with information to speak up. It must have been incredibly tough for her family and friends to have lived with unanswered questions for so long. I can't imagine what it feels like not having closure or understanding what happened to someone you love. If someone out there knows something, even the smallest piece of information could make a big difference. Who knows, maybe the advancements in DNA technology or forensic methods could also play a key role in bringing new insights to light.
