Has anyone else delved into the weather conditions on the night of Robert Kirk's attack? I came across a mention in an old newspaper that the night of December 1, 1973, was particularly stormy in the Akron area, which might have had an impact on events. It makes me wonder if the bad weather provided the intruder some cover or if it might have even deterred potential witnesses who otherwise would have been around. It's so devastating to think about Robert struggling through a brutal attack and then enduring a prolonged stay in the hospital, only to pass away on Christmas Day. I hope those who knew and loved him find some peace and that the renewed attention on this case brings forward the crucial piece of information needed to track down whoever did this to him. If the weather did play some role, even indirectly, it’s worth considering how it might fit into the bigger picture of that terrible night. Has anyone else seen any information or thoughts on this angle?
