Did anyone ever look into Nikki's role in Hang’s disappearance? It seems like her story kept changing, and then she just stopped cooperating altogether. I understand she might have been scared or trying to protect herself, but it leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Why did she lie initially if she had nothing to hide? I find it strange she didn't come forward with the job interview story right away. I know she was only 18 at the time, but has there ever been a deeper investigation into what she might know? Sometimes people remember more over time or their circumstances change, making them more willing to talk. I'm curious if anyone's ever tried reaching out to her years later.
I was rereading Hang's case, and I just can't shake how odd the behavior of Nikki Lee seems. I get that she was young and possibly scared, but changing her story multiple times? From leaving with some guys to a supposed job interview with Wallace, it feels like there's more to her relationship with Wallace than we understand. I know Wallace is the prime suspect, but if Nikki felt the need to protect Hang initially, why not come clean sooner? Her actions just seem off.
Also, isn't it strange how she referred Hang for a job when there wasn't enough work? Either she truly believed Hang needed the opportunity, or maybe there was something more going on. It's curious how easily she agreed to meet Wallace, whom she found creepy. Were they both coerced, or is there another layer we're missing? Thoughts?
