I've been going over the details of the Bonnie and Jeremy Dages case, and something that's been on my mind is the missing car seat. It's so strange that Bonnie's van was found with her purse and Jeremy's diaper bag still inside—yet no car seat. This makes me think that whoever is involved possibly planned things out to some extent. If Bonnie had indeed intended to come back to the van, why wouldn't she at least take the car seat to transfer Jeremy into another vehicle safely? It seems like such a calculated move, especially considering how crucial a car seat is for a baby's safety. It's as if someone wanted to make sure they couldn't easily go back without making it obvious. Maybe the car seat was moved to another car, which suggests an accomplice’s involvement or, worse, foul play. Does anyone have insights on what typically happens in cases with missing car seats?

Hey everyone, just revisiting the mysterious case of Bonnie and Jeremy Dages. There's something about that missing car seat that keeps gnawing at me. Could it hint at a possible plan or destination we’re overlooking? I mean, if someone on a whim decided to flee or was forced into a certain situation, wouldn't taking the car seat be crucial? It's been over 30 years, and yet this small detail just feels off to me. Any chance this was intentionally removed to prevent Bonnie from leaving on her own terms? Or was it used in a getaway with someone else? Every time I think about it, it's like an unsolved piece of a puzzle. Curious about everyone else's thoughts on this detail – has anyone dug into the possibility of it pointing toward something significant?

I find the detail about Bonnie’s van particularly puzzling. Why was the car seat missing, but Bonnie's purse and $75 left behind? You would think that if someone forcibly took them, they wouldn't bother taking the car seat with them. I’ve been reading that Bonnie had some cash with her due to that large withdrawal prior to her disappearance. It’s strange that the money wasn’t touched sitting there in her purse. Could this have been someone she trusted enough to willingly leave the car with? Was the car seat removed as a false trail to make it look like she left on her own? It just seems like a strange detail that keeps making me circle back to whether this person she met willingly took the seat, or if Bonnie took it with a plan that never fell through. Anyone else have thoughts or insights on this angle?
