Anyone else wondering about the car? It's mind-boggling that Ricky Walker's 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass just vanished along with him. Those things weren’t exactly small or easy to hide, especially in a place like Naples with all those open spaces and waterways. Could the car's disappearance suggest something more planned? Maybe someone knew how to get rid of it, or was it just stashed somewhere that’s been overlooked? And with foul play suspected, even the smallest detail about the car’s whereabouts might shed some light on what really happened that night. I’m curious if anyone has theories about where it might have ended up or if there are particular areas that might still need searching.
I’ve been going through some old cases recently, and the disappearance of Ricky Walker really caught my interest. Specifically, the absence of his 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass is puzzling. Does anyone else think it’s odd that the car, as big and distinctive as it was, vanished without a trace? We know from previous discussions that sometimes vehicles play a key role in these cases, either being used in the crime or as evidence later on. But, in Ricky’s case, both he and the car just vanished. How common is it for both a person and their vehicle to disappear completely for this long? Could the car have been hidden or disposed of in a way that authorities wouldn’t have thought to check back in ’93? I’d love to hear others' thoughts on possibilities or any similar cases.
