I was reading through some old threads about Andrea Gonzalez and stumbled upon something I can't get out of my head. It’s about how Paul was only given two years for his involvement. Does anyone else find this sentencing odd? I know he pleaded guilty to manslaughter, but given his role in the cover-up of such a horrible crime, it just doesn’t sit right with me. Especially considering he admitted to helping dispose of Andrea's body. It makes me wonder about the legal strategies at play in cases like this. Why do you think the system leaned towards a lighter sentence for him? Was it just about the plea deal, or could there have been other factors we might not be aware of? Would love to hear thoughts from folks who might have legal insights or have followed similar cases.
