Hey everyone, I’ve been reading through the discussion on Jeffrey Marcus Spruill and wanted to bring up something that crossed my mind. It's been bothering me how little focus there seems to be on the actual conditions out on the water that day. I mean, was there a freak weather issue they weren't expecting, or were the water temperatures more extreme than usual? I know the waters near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel can be quite tricky. Could these conditions have played a larger role in the tragic outcome? It's clear Spruill was brave beyond words, but understanding the environmental factors might offer more context or even prevent future tragedies. Anyone have details or insights on the weather reports or water conditions around that time?
