Has anyone looked into nearby old mine shafts or caves where "Uncle Buddy" might have gone that day? Considering he was last seen going into the woods with a pick and a sack, maybe he was exploring or working on something he didn't tell anyone about. Sometimes experienced outdoorsmen have their secret spots they keep to themselves. There might be a chance he got into trouble or had a mishap in one of those areas. It seems like an angle worth checking out, especially since it's been so long, and there could be places that haven’t been searched thoroughly yet. Thoughts?

I was researching the case of Miles "Uncle Buddy" Morris Jr., and something struck me. Has anyone looked into what was in the sack he was carrying? It seems like a crucial clue, especially since he was last seen heading into the woods. Could it have contained items he regularly used or something out of the ordinary? It's intriguing how such a detail, while minor, might help paint a clearer picture of what his intentions could have been. Perhaps something more specific was driving him into the woods that day. Any thoughts or theories on what could be in that sack?
