Just came across the case of Melissa Gail Crabill, and something about the location where her car was found has me puzzled. Why Houston, of all places? It's such a long drive from Fort Worth, especially considering she had no known connections there. Could the Remington Hotel have been significant for some reason? Maybe she had planned to meet someone there, or perhaps someone else drove her car there to throw off the investigation? I also wonder if there were any surveillance cameras in or around the hotel back in '95 that might have captured anything useful. The whole situation feels so odd - a young mom just vanishing, and her car shows up miles away with no clear leads. Curious if anyone here has thoughts on why her car might have ended up in Houston or knows more about the area back in the mid-'90s.
