Has anyone else looked into the tides that day Bryce Herda went missing? Given he vanished near Shi Shi Beach, I'd be curious to know the tide schedule on April 9, 1995. Could it have impacted where search teams looked, or influenced the likelihood of someone falling into the water? If local authorities believe he might have drowned, it seems like understanding the tide could be crucial. I'm no expert, but maybe reviewing high-tide and low-tide times could offer a new perspective or validate some theories? If anyone has info or sources on tide charts from that period and location, it might be worth digging into. Thoughts?

Does anyone here have any thoughts on the search techniques used back then for Bryce Herda? I’m really curious about how effective those methods were at Shi Shi Beach, especially considering how rugged and isolated that area is. It seems like such a challenging spot for any search operation with all those cliffs and strong currents. I’ve read they used Coast Guard helicopters and dog teams, but would current technology have made a difference in finding any traces? Maybe if they had had drones back then, they could have covered more ground or spotted something from the air that they might have missed. It’s hard to imagine with so many searching, he could just vanish without a single trace. What do you all think?
