I was thinking about the possibility of Misty needing glasses or contacts at the time of her disappearance. It's a bit of a long shot, but has anyone ever looked into local optometrists or optical shops from that time period? I mean, if she had an appointment or needed to get her prescription filled around when she went missing, there could be some record of it. I know it’s a stretch since so much time has passed, but maybe tracking any eyewear purchases could provide some clues? Even if it’s not a direct lead, sometimes the smallest details can be telling. Also, I wonder if her prescription was ever flagged for any reason in another location after she disappeared. Just a thought.
Does anyone else find it odd that the girls left without taking any personal belongings? I was reading through some old articles, and there was no mention of them packing bags or even grabbing any essentials. You'd think if they were running away, they'd have at least taken a few things like a backpack or extra clothing. It's also strange how there have been no sightings despite all the awareness campaigns. I can't shake the feeling that something unexpected might have happened to change their plans after they left home. Thoughts?
