I've always been fascinated by cold cases, and Dominic Spagnol’s 1979 murder is no exception. While reading about it, I couldn’t help but think about the emotional toll this must have taken on his family and friends over the years. Imagine not having answers for so long—it must be incredibly difficult. One thing that stood out to me in this case is the lack of media attention. In so many similar cases, a renewed media focus has led to new tips and developments. I wonder if there’s something we can do as a community to bring more awareness to Dominic’s story. Sometimes a fresh perspective or simply shining a light again on forgotten cases can make a world of difference. It’s all about keeping these stories alive and hoping someone, somewhere, knows something that could help close this chapter for his loved ones. If anyone reading this has experience in how to get media outlets to take an interest in cold cases, sharing that might be a small step forward. Every little bit counts in keeping the hope alive for those who knew and loved Dominic.
