Hey everyone,
I came across Ava Lomas' case while researching cold cases in Ohio, and I'm hoping someone here might have some insight or information to share. It's so distressing to think about how young and full of potential Ava was when her life was so violently taken from her.
What really struck me was reading about the scene where Ava's body was found. It was such an isolated alley, and I can't stop wondering—did anyone living nearby hear or see anything that night? It was early in the morning on July 25, 1979. Perhaps there were early risers who might have noticed something unusual or suspicious?
I just feel like there must be someone out there with a piece of the puzzle, no matter how small it might seem. Sharing even the most insignificant detail could make a huge difference in bringing some form of justice to her loved ones and the community that's suffered such a loss.
If anyone recalls something from that time or has heard anything over the years, please speak up. Ava and her family deserve answers, and it's so crucial that cases like this are kept in the public eye until they're solved.
Sending strength and hope to everyone affected by this tragedy.
Hey everyone,
I've been looking into the unsolved murder of Ava Lomas, and something I stumbled upon recently got me thinking about the potential significance of the alley where her body was found. The area behind 3134 Maplewood Avenue was described as pretty secluded back in 1979, which makes me wonder if the murderer was intimately familiar with the neighborhood.
Could it be that this person had spent time in that area before, maybe even lived nearby? It seems like you'd need some level of confidence and familiarity to commit such a horrific act in a place like that without fear of getting caught. I mean, it's not just any alley someone would randomly choose unless they had some connection, right?
Has anyone else thought about this or found any info about what the area was like back then? Maybe we're missing a piece of local knowledge that could spark a new lead. It's been so long, and while it's difficult to imagine the pain Ava's family has endured, my hope is we can collectively find something that changes the course of this case.
Anyone with insights, please share. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Take care,
