I've always been intrigued by Gail Ann Russell's disappearance, especially about that odd detail Podolski mentioned—the tapping at the window. It's such a strange occurrence, and it's the last known moment before Gail went missing. Has anyone else found this part of the story unusual? It almost reads like a scene from a movie, where something foreboding is about to happen. I'm curious if anyone local to the area remembers if there were any reports of suspicious activity or other strange instances around that time? Could this tapping have been a cover for something more sinister, or perhaps a coded warning she might've understood? We know her relationship with Podolski was rocky, and it almost makes me wonder if someone was trying to reach her without alarming him. Thoughts?

I’ve been thinking a lot about Gail Ann Russell’s case, especially regarding the timeline of events on that night. Does anyone else find it strange that Larry Podolski heard a tapping at the window just before Gail disappeared? It makes me wonder if someone was trying to get her attention, possibly someone she knew and trusted enough to go investigate alone at 1:00 a.m. Also, the cash that went missing the same night feels significant. It’s not a small amount, and if someone targeted the house for that money, maybe it’s connected to the substance abuse issues mentioned. Could it be that someone came to collect on a debt, and something went horribly wrong? Just throwing some thoughts out there, hoping it might spark some new ideas or leads. It's been too long without answers, and Gail's kids deserve to know what happened to their mom.
