I came across Benjamin Smith's case again today, and it got me thinking about the potential hidden stories behind these cold cases. It's so frustrating how someone can just disappear from the records like that without any justice being served. One thing I found interesting was the potential role that new forensic technology, like advanced DNA analysis, could play in revisiting old evidence. Although Benjamin's case hasn’t seen much progress, I'm holding out hope that someday we'll have the ability to uncover insights that weren’t possible back in 1979.
