It’s been over 25 years since Ben Wilberding disappeared, and I can’t stop thinking about that maroon vehicle he left in. Who were the two other occupants, and did they ever come forward with any useful information? It seems odd that we haven’t heard more about them or their connection to Ben. Did they ever give a statement to the police, and was their story verified? It just feels like they might hold some crucial piece of the puzzle. I know the police must have looked into it, but sometimes it seems like key details are never fully revealed to the public. Could it be that they were just casual acquaintances, or was there more to their relationship with Ben? Anyone know if this angle has been revisited in recent years?

I came across Ben Wilberding's case and was intrigued by the detail about his driver's license and Social Security card being found with someone else. Does anyone know if there was any further investigation into the person who had them? It seems odd that no direct connection was established, especially since those items are pretty crucial and personal. Also, why would Ben leave for this new job without picking up his paycheck, and why didn't he at least take his own car? Something about this whole situation feels off to me, almost like someone wanted to make him disappear without a trace. Anyone else have similar thoughts or more details on these points?
