Anyone familiar with the Superstition Mountains and the lore surrounding them? I recently came across the case of Kozma, who vanished from Phoenix back in '96. Rumor has it he might've headed out there on a "gold-panning trip," according to a note he left behind. It's intriguing to think he might've been chasing that infamous Lost Dutchman's gold. Seems like a risky endeavor, especially since the mountains are notorious for being treacherous. I wonder if anyone else has disappeared in that area under similar circumstances? Has anyone looked into any connection between the Superstition Mountains and missing person cases?
