Hi everyone, I've been following the "Belle in the Well" case ever since I stumbled across it on a true crime podcast, and like many of you, I’m yearning for justice for Louise. Something that's been haunting my thoughts is how she might have lived out her last days. Louise had such a rich history, moving from West Virginia, spending time out west, and then heading to Ohio. I can't help but wonder about the people she might have interacted with during those final weeks or months. Was there someone she trusted who betrayed her? Did she have any newfound friends or acquaintances in Ohio who might have insights, however small, into what happened to her? It baffles me how someone could disappear without anyone noticing for so long. If there's anyone here from the Chesapeake area or surrounding regions from back in the day, it would be amazing to hear any stories, however insignificant they may seem, about the community during that time or encounters with Louise. My thoughts are continually with Louise’s family, who had to endure decades of not knowing. Hopefully, sharing more about her life and connections back then might bring us a step closer to solving her murder.
