Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about Norman Collins' tragic case and how little we actually know about what happened that day on Vine Street. It's been over 40 years, and I can't imagine how painful it must be for his family and friends, waiting for answers all this time.
Something that's been on my mind is the location of the crime. 1308 Vine Street—does anyone know what the area was like back in 1982? Was it a bustling neighborhood or more secluded? Understanding the environment might give us some clues about what Norman could have encountered that night.
Also, I've read about places having street cameras later on, but do you think there were any businesses or homes back then with their own surveillance setups? It’s a long shot, especially given the time that has passed, but who knows, maybe there's some footage out there in dusty archives that was never reviewed.
Just thinking out loud here, but everything little thing could potentially be a puzzle piece in cases like these. Let's keep digging and hope justice can be served ultimately, for Norman and those who knew and loved him. ❤️
Take care, everyone.
I've been following Norman Collins' case for a while, and something that stands out to me is the location where the murder happened—1308 Vine Street in Cincinnati. I've read about the area being quite busy back in the '80s, so it seems surprising that there weren't any witnesses or people coming forward with information. Was it a place known for lots of foot traffic? It makes me wonder if someone must have seen or heard something that night.
I imagine that living in such a populated area would mean someone could have stumbled upon something unusual happening. Perhaps the fear of coming forward was too great back then, or it’s possible people didn’t want to get involved. It’s just heartbreaking to think about how many families like Norman’s are still left with no answers after all these years. I hope that, even decades later, someone who knows something might find the courage to speak up. Keeping his memory alive and continuing the conversation might lead to the break this case needs.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the Norman Collins case from 1982. It’s troubling how these cold cases can haunt the community for years, even decades. What caught my attention recently is the location where it all happened—1308 Vine Street. Cincinnati has evolved so much since then, and I wonder if there are people who lived or worked in that area back in the day who might remember something unusual from that time.
Sometimes, details that might have seemed insignificant back then could hold the key to new insights today. Does anyone have connections to the Vine Street area or recollections of that time period, even if it's just community anecdotes or small-town gossip? It’s a long shot, I know, but cases like this show how crucial any piece of information can be.
It’s important to try and piece together any fragments of information that might still be out there. Even though it’s been over 40 years, Norman Collins deserves justice. Let’s keep talking and sharing—one never knows what might spark a long-buried memory or encourage someone to speak up. Thanks for keeping this discussion going.
Take care,
