Has anyone else found it odd that Mary Ann borrowed the van from her mom but never returned it herself? I mean, why would she ask Roy to return it, especially if she supposedly planned to go to Florida? It makes you wonder if she actually intended to stay away longer than just a quick trip or if something happened before she had the chance to return the van herself. I know people sometimes do impulsive things, but this detail just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe it's just a random aspect of the case, but it's these small details that often hold the key. Curious to hear what others think about this part of the story!

Has anyone looked into Mary Ann's sister and whether she was expecting Mary Ann’s visit? I know it's been mentioned she was planning to go there, but did anyone ever confirm she told her sister about the trip? It seems strange she wouldn't have contacted her sister at all, especially if she was genuinely planning to stay with her. I wonder if the police ever interviewed her sister about their communication or if there were any recent conversations between the two prior to her disappearance. Also, I’ve seen that sometimes messages or calls get overlooked in cases like these; did law enforcement check Mary Ann’s phone records or her sister’s at the time? Would love to hear thoughts or any insights others might have on this angle.
