I keep thinking about where Gary Shehee was found that day in January '83. From what I’ve gathered, he was discovered in an area known to be quite secluded. It's just so haunting to think that someone could harm another person and leave them like that, with no immediate witnesses or help. Gary's family must have such a hard time reconciling the fear he must have felt. I wonder if the remoteness of the location played a role in why there haven’t been more leads over the years. Maybe someone out there has a memory of seeing something unusual around that time, even if it seems unrelated. It feels like cracking these cases often hinges on those small details. I really hope the renewed focus and advances in investigative technology will finally shed some light here. Keeping Gary and his loved ones in my thoughts.
