It's been almost 40 years since Alan Howard's tragic murder, and it's deeply unsettling to think there may still be someone out there who knows what happened that night but has remained silent. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends continue to endure without the closure they deserve. I recently discovered that the area where Alan was attacked was quite different back in the '80s—I've heard it used to be a bustling neighborhood with a strong sense of community. It makes me wonder if there were witnesses who, for whatever reason, were either afraid or unable to come forward at the time. The cold case initiative by the BCI is an incredible effort, and I truly hope it inspires someone to finally break their silence. Even the smallest detail could be the missing piece that helps solve this puzzle. Anyone with information should definitely reach out to the authorities. It's long past time for answers, and Alan's loved ones deserve peace. #JusticeForAlanHoward #ColdCaseAwareness

I’ve been thinking about the locations surrounding Alan Howard’s case, specifically the intersection of Grahm Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue. Was anyone else struck by how busy this area might have been back in 1984? Given its proximity to various businesses and the potential for foot traffic, it's surprising there weren’t more witnesses. Did anyone remember hearing about possible surveillance cameras or any bystanders who might’ve come forward but were hesitant to share what they saw? It’s hard to imagine how the family has managed to cope without answers all these years. It would be amazing if someone out there who remembers something from that day could finally shed some light on this mystery. Hoping this post might reach someone who was around there at the time or who might know someone who was.

Does anyone know if there were any events happening near Grahm Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue on the night Alan Howard was attacked? I read somewhere that there might have been a local event or gathering that evening, which could mean there were more people in the area who might have seen something. It's odd that there haven't been any witnesses coming forward after all these years. My heart goes out to Alan's family—I can't imagine how hard it must be not having answers after so long. If anyone was there that night or heard anything, please say something. Any small detail could finally help give Alan's loved ones the closure they deserve.
