I’ve been following Samiya Haqiqi's case and was curious if anyone else has looked into the details about her car being found abandoned in Little Neck. The choice of location seems so odd to me. It's a bit of a distance from where she was last seen at Quinnipiac and not quite en route to her family's place in Queens. Why leave her car there, in a supermarket parking lot? It feels so out of place and intentional. I wonder if this location had any special significance to either Samiya or Fahid Popal. Maybe it was chosen for a reason? I'd love to hear if anyone has thoughts on this or any similar patterns in other cases.
Does anyone else find it odd that the brother, Farhad, was charged with hindering prosecution but didn’t serve any time? I'm curious about what evidence they had or didn't have against him. If they had enough to charge him, it seems strange that it didn't lead to anything more significant. I mean, if Fahid was convicted of Samiya's murder, and Farhad was involved in any way, wouldn't you expect a harsher punishment or at least some jail time? It's like there’s this gap in the case that doesn’t quite line up for me. The whole situation just keeps gnawing at me, making me wonder if justice was fully served or if there were aspects overlooked, especially considering Samiya’s remains were never found. Thoughts?
