I wanted to take a moment to discuss something that's been on my mind regarding Kenneth Cavins' case. I can't stop thinking about the location where Kenneth was found—the W. Whittier Street Overpass near I-70. This area has always seemed quite busy and trafficked, especially during the late '80s. It baffles me that no one saw or heard anything unusual around the time of his murder.
Is it possible that someone passing through that area might have noticed something odd but didn’t realize its significance at the time? Maybe a witness saw a suspicious vehicle parked or noticed someone acting strangely and just didn't connect the dots because it was, after all, late on a winter night. If anyone reading this remembers being in that area back then or knows someone who frequently passed through, it's worth thinking about those days again.
Every person's memory could hold a piece of the puzzle. Even the smallest detail can be crucial, so reaching out to BCI or Columbus PD if something rings a bell might really make a difference. Kenneth's family deserves answers and peace after all these years. Let's bring our community together and see if we can help bring justice for Kenneth.
I was recently reading up on Kenneth Cavins' case, and I can't stop thinking about how someone around him might have known more than they let on. It's unsettling to imagine that there might have been witnesses or acquaintances who saw or heard something unusual leading up to his tragic death. Kenneth was brutally killed with a blunt object under the W. Whittier Street Overpass, and it still sends shivers down my spine thinking about the violence he endured. I've read about the BCI's ongoing efforts to reignite public interest, and I commend them for not giving up on finding justice for him. It's tough knowing his family and friends have been waiting for answers all these years. I truly hope that if there was someone who noticed even a small thing around that time, they'd finally come forward. Let's keep attention on this case and help bring peace to those who cared for Kenneth.
