Does anyone else find it strange how Thomas wasn't reported missing until weeks later? I mean, if he was living with his mom and stepdad, wouldn't they have noticed something was off sooner? Maybe there’s something they weren't telling the police, or could there have been tension at home? Also, he didn't take his wallet or belongings, so it's like he only intended to be away for a short while. I know assumptions can be deceiving, but it makes you wonder if someone in his close circle had more insight into his daily activities or was maybe the last to see him, right? If anyone has more info on the dynamics in the home or recent behavior before he vanished, it could really help put pieces together.
Has anyone else taken a closer look at the timeline regarding Thomas Sperb's disappearance? I've been following his case, and one thing that sticks out to me is how long it took for him to be reported missing. Nearly three weeks is such a lengthy period not to hear from a relative or close friend without raising the alarm, especially when they leave behind all personal belongings like Thomas did. What was happening in those weeks—and could any delays have hindered early investigation efforts? Sometimes, piecing together those initial days or weeks holds crucial clues. I wonder, does anyone else find this aspect of the case to be significant, or am I reading too much into it?
I’ve been following Thomas Sperb’s case ever since I stumbled upon it, and something keeps nagging at me. I find it odd that Thomas wasn't reported missing until nearly three weeks after he disappeared. In a small community like Estacada, wouldn’t someone notice sooner that he's not around? I understand that adults have the right to come and go as they please, but I think the delay in reporting could have impacted the investigation significantly. Who were the people he was frequently in touch with during his day-to-day? Did anyone else apart from his family and neighbors notice his absence before he was reported missing? It just seems like there could be more to this gap in time that might hold some answers. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts or if you're familiar with any similar scenarios that got resolved.
