Something that's been bugging me about Emmett Oliver Jr.'s case is the fact that his credit cards were used the night he vanished. Does anyone else find this odd? It feels like someone was trying to make it look like he was still around or maybe trying to throw off investigators. Given that Emmett was not known to suddenly disappear or act out of character, this stands out. Also, the shopping center where his car was found is pretty busy—lots of foot traffic. You'd think someone might have seen something. Has anyone looked into whether there's any surveillance footage from that area back in 2000? It's a long shot, but who knows what might still exist in an archive somewhere. Curious if anyone has thoughts on the potential significance of the location of the car or the credit card usage.
