Hey everyone, I've been following Amy Derewitz's case for a while now, and something that always struck me was the role of Kniga's new girlfriend. She admitted seeing Amy injured and didn't call for help. How is it possible to witness someone in such distress and not do something? It's disturbing that she walked away without even trying to alert anyone, especially since those crucial moments could have potentially saved Amy's life. Does anyone know if she ever faced any charges or legal repercussions for her inaction? It seems like she played a significant part in this tragedy, at least on a moral level. I can't imagine knowing something like that and living with it, but I haven’t seen much mention of her in the later developments of the case. Any insights would be appreciated, especially from those familiar with Michigan law. I can't help but hope there's more accountability coming her way. Thanks for reading and looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
