Has anyone looked into the possibility of Stefanie having connections in Colorado Springs? If she did indeed head there after leaving Pittsburgh, it makes me wonder if she had a friend or someone she trusted in the area. Sometimes people run to what they perceive as "safe havens," especially if they're feeling cornered or scared. It's strange that after all these years, no verified sightings have popped up there. Maybe digging into connections or examining the Victorian era chat rooms and forums that were popular around that time could yield some clues. Anyone with knowledge or insights on that might be able to help bring Stef home.
One aspect of Stefanie Mills’ case that’s puzzled me for years is the possibility that she traveled to Colorado Springs after disappearing. Why Colorado Springs? Did she have any connections there? It seems so random, and I can't help but wonder if there's more to it than we know. If she did head that way, it makes you question whether she has been in contact with someone from that area before she went missing. I remember reading that some runaways do end up where they have a hidden social network or a safe haven. Has anyone heard of any leads pursued in Colorado, and do you think the age-progression images might spark someone’s memory out there? It's hard not to speculate on her reasons for going so far from home. Any theories on what might have drawn her all the way out there?
