I've been following the case of Edwin Dewitt Holman and it's so profoundly upsetting to think about his family still searching for answers after all these years. One thing I keep wondering is about the area where the incident happened—near South Street and Locust Avenue. Does anyone familiar with Long Beach know if this spot had any security cameras at that time? With the family's ongoing struggle to find out what happened, I’m puzzled why more evidence hasn’t surfaced. It's such a busy area; surely, someone must have seen or noticed something unusual that day. My heart goes out to Edwin’s family. They deserve to see justice served and find even a small measure of peace from this nightmare. What's everyone's thought on possible ways to advocate or support a reopening of any part of this investigation? It feels like there has to be more we can do to help.
Hey everyone,
I've been diving deep into Edwin Dewitt Holman's case lately, and something that's really stuck with me is how determined his family is in their search for justice. It’s been over a decade, yet they haven't given up hope or stopped looking for answers. I can’t even begin to imagine the strength it must take to keep pushing forward all these years.
What fascinates me is why there hasn't been more movement in the case. Considering it happened near South Street and Locust Avenue, someone must have seen or heard something that night. It's a busy area, right? Even if it's just a small detail that someone thinks is unimportant, it could potentially be the key to solving this case.
To anyone from the Long Beach community or those who were around back then, do you remember anything that could help? Even rumors or seemingly insignificant details? Let’s help bring Edwin’s family the closure they so desperately deserve. Any thoughts or leads could be invaluable.
Stay safe and be kind,

Hey everyone,
I recently came across the case of Edwin Dewitt Holman, and my heart goes out to his family. It's been over a decade since that tragic day in Long Beach, and the thought that they still don’t have answers must be incredibly tough. What really struck me is that this happened in a fairly busy area near South Street and Locust Avenue. It's hard to believe no one saw anything or hasn’t come forward yet.
Sometimes, people avoid speaking out because of fear or other reasons, which is understandable, but it’s so important for the community to come together in situations like this. If anyone on this forum has any information, or maybe even knows someone from around that area back in 2008, it would be amazing if you could encourage them to share what they know. Edwin’s family deserves to put this behind them and have some peace.
Thanks for letting me share this. I hope this brave family finds the justice they’ve been seeking.
