I’ve been digging into the Logan Tucker case lately, and something that really puzzles me is how Katherine Rutan was so quick to start giving away Logan's things right after he disappeared. It just doesn't sit right with me. I know some people might act out of stress or denial, but from everything I've read, Logan's belongings were being distributed before there was even a confirmed status about him. Is it just me, or does this seem more like a calculated move than an emotional reaction? Also, the fact that she showed so little concern when she was questioned is incredibly concerning. I can’t help but wonder if this was part of a bigger plan she had all along, especially given the conflicting stories she gave law enforcement. It's so frustrating that, even with the conviction, his body hasn't been found. Anyone else find this part of the case particularly disturbing, or have thoughts on what might’ve been going on in her mind at the time?
Has anyone else delved into the DHS angle on the Logan Tucker case? It’s got me wondering how a child in such a precarious situation slipped through the cracks. Katherine Rutan had reached out for their help, albeit with sketchy intentions it seems, but still... Logan’s disappearance came after this call for assistance. It makes me question what the response was when she initially reached out. Were they waiting for something more concrete to intervene, or was it just system backlog? I know dealing with DHS can sometimes be a waiting game, but it's haunting to think a swifter response might have changed the outcome. It’s chilling to imagine a different path where someone intervenes at the right time. Thoughts?
I recently came across Logan Tucker's case, and something has been bugging me ever since—what about all those inconsistent stories from Rutan? It's odd, right? Particularly, I'm curious about the story she told about DHS taking Logan. Did anyone ever find out why she chose that specific story? I mean, it seems like such an elaborate lie, and it makes you wonder if she was trying to throw investigators off track or if there was some underlying reason connected to the state intervention she initially sought.
Also, the fact that she started giving away his belongings just days after he went missing is so unsettling to me. Does anyone have more detailed insight into the timeline of when she started doing that? Makes you wonder if she had planned to do something from the start. Any thoughts or similar cases where a parent acted this way?
