Did anyone else notice the mention of a brief power outage in the area during the night of the Hood murders? I came across a few old local news articles that mentioned it offhand, but it wasn't heavily covered. I'm curious if it could have some significance. Power outages might have impacted security systems or made it easier for someone to enter homes unnoticed. It's just really unsettling to think about how vulnerable people can be in their own homes. I can't imagine what Margaret and Howard went through that night. Keeping them in my thoughts and hoping this case doesn't stay cold forever. If anyone has more info or theories about this angle, it would be great to discuss.
