Has anyone looked into possible connections between Cheryl's case and other missing person cases in the area from the early 2000s? It's weird that her car vanished along with her. That model of Oldsmobile isn't exactly subtle, right? Maybe checking if similar cars were reported stolen or found abandoned around the same time could give a clue. I keep thinking about how specific the note was about the river—could her car have ended up in it too? I think we've seen instances when missing cars turn up surprisingly intact under water years later during routine searches or by accident. Perhaps it's worth exploring if there have been thorough searches of nearby rivers or bodies of water since she disappeared. It's a long shot, but you never know!
