Does anyone else find it so unsettling how Roberta Poirier's case remains unsolved after all these years? I recently came across it while browsing through the Ohio Attorney General's database of unsolved homicides. It really gets to me thinking about the small town of Vandalia and how a community could move on without answers. Her family must be exhausted from waiting for justice all this time. What also catches my interest is the location where she was found. It's particularly haunting that it was a field meant to be excavated. Did someone think that area would be secluded enough to hide the crime, or was it just pure chance that construction workers stumbled upon her remains? I often wonder if there's someone out there who's still keeping a secret. Someone in Vandalia or nearby might hold the key to solving this. If anyone reading this knows something or was in that area back in '92, even a small piece of information might be just what the investigation needs to break through. Let's keep Roberta and her memory alive in the hopes for justice someday.

Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Roberta Poirier's case lately and something that sticks with me is just how brutal and personal this crime seems. From everything I've read, the fact that Roberta was found unclothed and suffocated suggests such a personal and intimate attack, likely by someone she knew or someone who harbored intense anger towards her. It's devastating to think about how her family has had to navigate all these years without answers or closure.
I also find it frustrating that despite the advances in forensic science, her case remains unsolved. Surely, even the smallest detail can change the course of an investigation. Perhaps someone here might know of similar cases or strange occurrences in the Vandalia area around that time? It pains me to think of her family having to carry this burden for so long. They deserve answers and justice for Roberta.
If anyone has even the tiniest lead or theory, it's worth sharing with the authorities. Every little bit helps, and imagine if just one overlooked detail could finally bring peace to her loved ones. She's not forgotten, and we can't give up hope.
